Marshall and Allison Pierce never wanted to be married to anything other than the Marines. Both grew up with the desire to be married to nothing other than their country and their job, but when they laid eyes on each other the pair knew it was love at first sight. They were married three years after their initial encounter, and decided long before that that there would be no children in their future. Well, fate lol’d at their decision and one year later Allison Pierce was on her back birthing their first and only child. Janna Nicole Sturgis was born on October 28th 1984. Births of children for most married couples were a happy occasion, but for the Sturgis family? This was a nightmare. This meant that one would have to leave their beloved job and become a caretaker. Neither wanted to, but after much persuasion Allie took the bullet. Her hiatus however only lasted a few short years since once Molly, Marshall’s baby sister hit twenty-one, six year old Janna was handed over to her and back to the Marines Allie went.
Janna is now on the verge of her twenty-fifth birthday. In her twenty five years she has grown to be a very self-reliant, proud, and heavily guarded woman. In her entire life she has only dated and slept with one man, and the relationship has been defunct since high school came to a close seven years ago. Her heart remains guarded to the hole her parents carved in it when she was only six years old. It’s hard to believe you’re wanted when even your own parents can cast you away with such ease. Janna lives alone in studio apartment. She drives a BMW Jetta, has three parakeets, and doesn’t know how to say the word ‘no’ to those she loves. Recently she has discovered the delight that is Glee and it joins her television schedule with her assortment of law and crime shows. Three years ago Janna received a degree in Nursing from Villanova and she has since been working at the Children’s Hospital of Philidelphia.
